Turns out I’m kinda fast?

At least compared to where I was.

I used to despise interval or tempo runs, especially in the hotter months when even running my easy pace feels nearly impossible, but I decided to just lean in and give them my all even if I wasn’t able to hit every single pace. And lo and behold, it worked.

And now my easy pace has improved to the point where I’m running those runs at paces that I would be doing hard intervals at. It didn’t happen overnight, but when I see how far I’ve come it really motivates me to keep pushing and see how conditioned I can get my body over the next few months.
